  • Mobile spray tanning brings the convenience of a tan directly to your location, whether it's your home, office, or another designated space. On average, a spray tan appointment takes 25 to 30 minutes from setup to completion.

    Here's how it works:

Appointment Booking: You schedule an appointment online through our scheduling platform.

Preparation Instructions: Prior to your appointment, you may receive specific instructions on how to prepare your skin for your tan.

Setting Up: On the day of your appointment, our technician will arrive at your preferred location with all necessary equipment and supplies. They will bring a pop-up tent to contain the spray and minimize overspray.

Consultation: Our technician will consult with you about your desired tan shade and any preferences you have regarding the application.

Spray Tan Application: You will be asked to undress to your comfort level and you'll be provided the option of using a hairnet and disposable underwear. The technician will then apply the spray tan solution evenly over your body using a handheld spray gun and machine.

Drying Time: After the spray tan application, the technician will use a fan to help dry the solution on your skin quickly. Drying typically takes a few minutes.

Post-Tan Care: You will receive instructions on how to care for your spray tan to ensure it develops properly and lasts as long as possible.

Clean-Up: Once the spray tan session is complete, our technician will pack up their equipment and ensure the area is left clean.

The benefits of mobile spray tanning include convenience, as it eliminates the need to travel to a salon, and privacy, as you can receive the tan in the comfort of your own space.

  • Spray tanning is often considered safer than traditional tanning methods (such as sunbathing or using tanning beds) for several reasons:

No UV Exposure: Spray tanning does not involve exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation, which is the primary cause of skin damage, premature aging, and skin cancer. UV radiation from the sun and tanning beds can penetrate deep into the skin, causing DNA damage and increasing the risk of skin cancer.

Reduced Skin Damage: Traditional tanning methods can lead to sunburn, dryness, and long-term damage to the skin's elasticity and texture. Spray tanning, on the other hand, only affects the outermost layer of the skin (epidermis) where the dead skin cells reside. The active ingredient, DHA (dihydroxyacetone), interacts with these cells to darken the skin temporarily without causing damage to deeper layers.

Even Tan without Tan Lines: Spray tanning allows for a more even application of color, reducing the likelihood of developing tan lines that can occur with natural sun exposure.

  • Yes, you can shower after getting a spray tan. When getting a signature tan, we generally recommend waiting at least 6 hours before showering for a light tan and at least 8 hours for a darker tan. With our Rapid solution, we recommend waiting at least 2-3 hours for a light tan or 5 hours for a dark tan. In either case, we do not recommend sleeping with the solution still on your skin.

Showering too soon after a spray tan can potentially affect the development of your tan and may cause it to fade unevenly or prematurely. When you do shower, use lukewarm water and avoid using soaps or exfoliating vigorously, as these can also affect the longevity of your tan.

After showering, pat your skin dry gently with a towel rather than rubbing it, to avoid fading your tan.

  • We recommend scheduling your spray tan appointment 1-2 days before a special event to allow the tan to develop fully and any initial color to settle. That said, if you need quick results, our Rapid solution offers a fast-drying alternative that can settle within as little as 2-5 hours.

  • We offer our mobile spray tan services at the client's preferred location within the city limits of Duluth, Superior, Monticello, and Winona. Appointments are available outside city limits (up to 5 miles) with a $5 surcharge that goes directly to your spray tan technician.

  • Exfoliate your skin at least 24 hours before your spray tan with a basic loofah or wash rag. Shave at least 12 hours before your spray tan. After showering do not apply lotions, oils, deodorants, or perfumes. And make sure to bring loose-fitting clothes with you for after your spray tan.

  • Typically, a spray tan lasts 5 to 7 days with proper care. Moisturizing daily, staying hydrated, and avoiding prolonged exposure to water can help extend the lifespan of your tan.

  • Wait at least 12 hours after your initial rinse before applying any lotion. Moisturizing is the key to prolonging your spray tan so moisturizing twice daily will give you the best results. It’s also important to stay hydrated and drink lots of water.

  • While our spray tan solution is generally safe, we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before booking an appointment if you're pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • Yes, spray tanning is safe for individuals with tattoos. The solution will not affect the appearance of your tattoos.

  • While a spray tan provides some color to your skin, it does not offer protection from sunburn. Applying sunscreen over your spray tan is essential to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. Choose a sunscreen that's compatible with spray tans to avoid discoloration.

  • If you notice patchiness or fading, gently exfoliate the affected areas to even out the tan. Additionally, moisturizing regularly can help extend the life of your tan.

  • Our spray tan solution is fast-drying and non-sticky, but to avoid any potential transfer, it is best to wear loose, dark clothing immediately after your session. Sheets may be stained if you sleep on them before showering off the excess solution.

  • The frequency of spray tans depends on individual preferences and lifestyle factors. Generally, clients opt for a spray tan every 1-2 weeks to maintain their desired tan level.
